The new map file has a different file name. Additionally, the file contains config scripts that have been updated to use the new map file." You can either download the fixed map at 5.0 MB from id's ftp server or the updated complete pack at 15.9 MB.
  • There is a scheme afoot for a small tourney on Saturday featuring these new maps, so practice up!

The tiny 70 KB zip-file contains the two .DLLs that need to be placed in your UT System folder, and word is "The new D3D renderer uses DirectX8 which should result in improved performance due to improved texture management. It also now supports the DXT1 compressed textures from the 2nd UT CD. The OpenGL renderer is now up- to date with the D3D renderer and needs some settings added to the OpenGLDrv setting of your UnrealTournament.ini file."
